USD Wire Transfers Updated

Dear Client,

This notice is intended for clients who currently hold a USD bank account.

On August 27, 2021, Euro Pacific Bank will suspend banking services involving USD. We are working tirelessly to restore this alternative for our clients, but until then, we will not be able to support USD deposits or wire transfers:

• You may receive USD wire transfers until August 16, 2021
• You may request an outgoing wire until August 16, 2021

Options for my USD account balance

You may elect that US dollars in your bank account(s) be converted to another currency, used to buy gold or silver, invested in our proprietary mutual funds, moved to your existing linked brokerage accounts, or transferred out to an account at another financial institution opened under the same name as your account with us (first party transfer).

Option 1:  Leave deposits in USD

If you leave USD in your account and choose to access your funds prior to USD banking services being restored, you will not be able to access funds until they are first converted to a different currency. This may result in delays in processing your outgoing wires.

Option 2: Convert your USD to a different currency

You can convert to CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY, or PLN using the standard conversion request form inside your eBanking. The deadline to convert your USD to a different currency is August 27, 2021.

If you don't have any non-USD bank accounts, you can request additional currency accounts inside your eBanking.

Option 3: Transfer to Precious Metals, Mutual Funds, or Brokerage

If you don't want to convert your USD to another currency, you can move them to your linked brokerage account, buy precious metals, or buy proprietary mutual funds. The deadline to transfer/invest your USD is August 27, 2021.

Option 4: Transfer your USD out

If you don't want to convert your USD to another currency, move them to a linked brokerage account, or buy precious metals or mutual funds, you must transfer them out to another bank account in the same name as your account with us (first party transfer).

Please request your outgoing payment as soon as possible to allow processing time and fulfilling supporting documentation. We will stop accepting outgoing USD transfer requests after August 16, 2021.
